About the role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Junior Software Engineer to join our Pune team, designing and delivering complex software solutions to our customer base.

Excellent development is at the core of our client service, so we are hoping to find Developer with applied design experience. That means able to see a project from coding through to successful implementation and with a clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and best practise. Experience in developing real time information systems would be an advantage. FusionLive is a SaaS product, based on top of a robust technology stack, running a high volume of data and usage, but with the growth of our Pune hub, you could be asked to work on a variety of solutions and suites.

Key responsibilities

Design and Software Development

• Design high quality units in accordance with the overall solution architecture, adhering to design, regulatory, industry and product quality standards

• Implement changes to products, implementing design changes to fulfil requirements

• Ensure a high standard of usability and data accuracy throughout the product components

• Create all necessary technical documentation required for each release cycle

• Respond to technical and support queries, analysing root cause of issues and implementing changes to prevent re-occurrences

• Look for ways to improve and innovate and be part of the team discussions about product and professional enhancements.

Delivery

• Take responsibility for delivery of a schedule of Unit Releases, as directed

• Undertaking regular Root Cause Analysis, and problem solving

• Uphold KPIs for productivity (for example, resolution of product-related support tickets)

• Uphold KPI for code quality standards

• Adherance to client Information Security policies and protocols.

To be successful, you’ll need to bring:

• Minimum experience of 3 years in development

• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Javascript

• Technical leadership and design experience for systems implementation, installation and development of methodologies and standards

• Strong development experience in JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, Spring, Hibernate, EXTJS or React Native / React Ionic

• Worked on Oracle Database

• Understanding of GIT or SVN

• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Additional desirable qualities:

• CI/CD (Jenkins, MSBuild etc.)

Design • 5-7 years of design experience around Application Integration, Data Integration or ETL Engineering • 1-2 Years of Application Design. 2 Coding • 5-7 years of actual development/coding around Application Integration, Data Integration or ETL Engineering. • 1-2 Years of Application Development experience. • 1-2 Years of Application Design. 3 Testing • 2-3 Test experience either in a support role to application QA assistance. 4 Deployment • 2-3 - Experience with deployment to production and automation around deployment 5 Task management • 2-3 of Experience in leading others to complete their tasks while delivering its own projects.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Must-Have

· 5 to 10 yrs of Combined Technical Experience in Development and Administration of Informatica or Data Management solutions.

· 3-5 Years of Experience in PowerCenter Development.

· 3-5 Years of Experience in Data Quality

· 1-2 Years of Experience doing Administration (Installation and configuration and administration/support) of Informatica products or Data Management solutions.

· 1-2 Years’ experience in BDM, EDC, etc.

· Strong experience in Design & Support Applications: Data Warehouse, Data Integration Systems, Big Data Lake or B2B System Integration/e-Commerce (at least two).

· Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

· Demonstrated experience in managing Risks, Escalations & their timely mitigation both at the Service level as well as the Account level.

Technical Background:

· Informatica Platform exposure with strong experience in B2B Development and Administration OS Intermediary to Advance in both Linux and Windows Servers;

· Configuration of secure environments like TLS/SSL configuration, LDAP Integration, the configuration of application services, and integration with Kerberized environments.

· Configuration of HTTPS services with CA certificates.

· Basic Networking;

· At least two database technology in advanced level;

· At least one programing language intermediary and one advanced;

· At least one scripting language intermediary and up;

· At least one ETL Corporate level solution;

· data modeling skills;

· XML and JSON knowledge and working experience

· Advanced SQL ANSI skills.

Good to Have

· Strong experience in Design & Support Applications: Data Warehouse, Data Integration Systems, Big Data Lake or B2B System Integration/e-Commerce (at least one).

· Strong experience Service Definition: Processes, Team Structure / Planning, Service Reporting, Disaster Recovery & Communication.

· Strong experience in Task management & reporting: KT Planning & Execution; including methodology, tools & processes, Documentation, Resourcing, Service ramp-up to Steady State Operations.

· Strong experience in Release management: Release Planning, Prioritization, development, Testing, Deployment, and go-live of key enhancements/developments.

· Strong experience in Change Management: Plan Changes, Risks, impact assessment

Experience in Resource management: Rota management as per the agreed service scope including on-call / weekend support, attrition management, allocation & releasing of resources.
Experience working on Technologies Informatica Secure at Source, Axon Governance, Informatica EDC, Informatica EDL, or Informatica BDM is a big plus.

· Big Data Administration or Development Certification or proven implementation experience.

· At least one: Scala, Phyton, or Java experience in Big Data Development Context/Skills is desired.

· Hands-on administration skill on at least one Big Data Distribution is desired.
